Beach Box is GROWING! When the site last operated, they could welcome upwards of 350 guests. This time around, they’ll have room for over one thousand!
They are confident in being able to welcome as many as 1500 people by the time all restrictions are over, so they’ll rival other sites for the ‘Newcastle’s biggest beer garden’ crown!
A beach!
The Beach Box is completely unique. In fact, they have a huge sandpit central to their venue. Their very own Beach! Deck chairs, parasols and log fires are provided, so that summertime beach hangout can be enjoyed just minutes from the city centre, whatever the weather.
They also have a fully equipped Kitchen, utilising their sister venue, The Holy Hobo. So they aren’t limited to just food vendors, as delicious as their traders will be. You can enjoy a proper restaurant meal, from the comfort of your chosen stretch tent, container or deck chair.
The fun of a beach, the bustle of a beer garden
Beach Box bring the fun of the beach to the bustle of a lively beer garden, creating that summer festival feel. They have lifeguards and deck chairs to fire pits and festoon lanterns, all surrounding their stage where you can expect the best live acts, DJs and performances every week!
They’ll even be hosting quizzes, bingo and karaoke events so there’s something fun for everyone.
Sporting action
Their HUGE screen will guarantee you never miss any sporting action, with all eyes on the upcoming Euros.
Children and pets
They are family-friendly, even your four-legged fur babies can join! Their site will feature a doggy playpen, with a mini agility course & free treat bags for the pooches.
As for your children, they’ll be bringing back their famous Kids Club, featuring a whole host of characters and activities to keep your kids entertained while you enjoy a cheeky drink.
They even have a competitive socialising area, an array of games from shuffleboard to darts and much more!
The menu
The food menu is being overhauled, as they prepare to tease tastebuds with a whole range of new items. You’ll be sure to find some of their classic burgers. Their Executive Chef has really been earning his wages over lockdown! They’ll be sneak-peaking some dishes over the coming weeks on their socials.
As for food vendors, they’ll be rotating the stalls regularly to always provide something different! You can expect the city’s finest traders working hard from their trucks, offering all things pizzas to gyros, loaded fries to sweet treats.
And drinks!
For those on a liquid diet, their cocktail menu has truly been shaken up! Expect boozy summer slushes, unique sparkling sharers and sweet tipples all worthy of their own Instagram post!
The classics remain, so you can still enjoy a pornstar while your partner enjoys an ice-cold pint.
